With dual contracting and architecture capabilities, we can estimate a job’s cost before it’s done, design a budget and then take the project to completion. Combined, our team has been crafting solutions for over 150 years.
What is your retail experience?
We have constructed and designed both local retail outlet stores and national chain stores. Our completed projects include restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream stores, apparel stores, flower shops, a museum outlet store, convenience stores, a live performance theater, banks and other types of retail stores. We know retail construction.
What is your commercial experience?
Our commercial project experience includes: ADA and building upgrades, common area remodels, preparation of space to deliver to tenant, capital improvement projects, fire sprinkler and life safety retrofit projects and asbestos abatement projects. We know commercial construction.

How long have you been in business?
Metro has been in business since 1993, operating in the State of California under California State License Number 637873. We originally opened our doors as Metro Development, a design build firm, and in 2004 we incorporated under the name Metro Construction, Inc.
How much will it cost?
Cost depends on the scope of work and the project location. If you already have plans, we will gladly bid your project and tell you the cost. If you do not have plans or if you have sketches, we can budget your project for you. Our budget pricing is done using a combination of techniques: we use square footage costs, historic building costs information and individual trade takeoffs and experience to estimate a budget.
